749 has sprung an oil leak and it appears that it is coming from the oil cooler. Did a bit of research and 2003 749's, which mine is, were recalled to have it fixed. Am I still entitled to get the work done as a recall?
If the work hasn't been done yet then I think you should be entitled to it. The intention of a recall is a manufacturers legal obligation to fix a fault. If you speak to the dealer they should be able to tell you if the work has been done :smile:
I think there would be time limits on that. 10 years is quite a bit of time before getting a recall done!
It's worth checking with your local dealer. I had a recall job done on my 94 916 when it was ten years old, at JHP Ducati Coventry.
