Recommendations Needed For Dainese Boot Zip Replacement?

There used to be a company called nine lives in Farnborough that some years ago did quite a few leather repairs and alterations, I don't know if they are still going? This is the last address I can find for them if it's any good? http://www.ninelivesleathers.co.uk/

 

We use Chris at Ninelives, hes still there. He's mentioned he can do boots as well so worth a try.

 

You could also try Hill 4 Leather in Ash near Aldershot. They replaced a full zip in my Daytonas which 3 years on is still good. Andy

 

Cool, I have the same issue with my axial pro in's. I also use Chris at ninelivesleathers.co.uk

 

There is a shoe repairers in Lime Street (near Fenchurch Street) in that there London that replaced the zips on my Daytona's without changing the boots integrity, and resoled and reheeled them at the same time. The original Daytona soles wore out quickly, but these new ones haven't any sign of wear in six months, and they still give the same feel through the footpegs. Total cost was £100 for all (Daytona themselves wanted £120 just to resole them) and came back nicely polished.

Sorry for slight hijack but is there someone in West Sussex who does leather repairs? I would certainly consider Ninelivesleather if I can find nothing closer.

 

@Loz, use Chris. There is no-one better but he is v busy. Esp during race season. Plus its dead easy to get to.
