749 Recommendations Please - Rear Hugger And Indicator Lenses

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by MushHaze, Sep 9, 2016.

  1. Last few cosmetic upgrades to do on my 749s, looking for a couple of recommendations...

    1) I need to replace the front indicator lenses. On ebay there are ones from "ProjectR" for 50 quid and chinese ones for 12 quid. Has anyone bought the chinese ones and are they total rubbish? Leaning towards the dearer ones but dont want to be throwing money away for no reason!

    2) Looking at rear huggers 2 (black swingarm). What ye got? Conquest Carbon or Carbonmoto? Pics would be great if ye have any.

Lastly, seen a few guys on here with different seats on the 749, is there a Ducati Corse seat cover you can buy off ebay, had a search cannot find anything.

  2. an oe indicator is only about £32 from a dealer

  5. I changed the short hugger for the long reach one on mine. Much better looking in my opinion and definitely protects the shock absorber a lot better. I was lucky enough to stumble across a OE one on flee bay.

Can't comment on conquest carbon as I've never bought anything from them but I have bought various carbon parts from carbonmoto in the past and it has all fitted perfectly and the quality is spot on.

  8. I have a long carbon hugger. Looks great and keeps a lot of muck off the underside. :)
