The FIA announced the long-awaited outcome ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix after concluding terms of an ‘Accepted Breach Agreement’ with Red Bull. Even more of a tainted title, tut tut.
A little bit like the rugby gallagher premiership a few years ago when Saracens were found cheating, but didn't lose their trophies, a pointless exercise in my opinion.
The overspend was 1.6% and I'm glad they put a stop to the Mercedes Hamilton domination and because of that I'm fine with it. They spent a little too much on catering so they shouldn't lose wind tunnel time.
When you look at how close the season was 1.6% is quite a lot and I’m not a “Hamilton fanboy” by any means.
