Hi Guys, anyone painted their Mutley wheels red? or seen any pics anywhere, or any Photoshop gods about. Cheers Jim
I can give it a go, I'm a bit of a photoshop novice (self taught) and tend to find it hard to replace colours with white or black as technically they're not colours (according to PS) Chuck me a link to your avatar pic and I'll give it a whirl over the weekend
Damodici/Andy, Thanks very much guys. I do like the red wheels now I have seen them on the bike. Cheers Jim
One of the last mods on my to do list is the trellis and engine lugs in red... does anyone of you know where I can do that (including dismantling/fitting)? And roughly how much do you estimate?
Slug, I got quote for my last bike to do the frame via P&H with Altamura. It was £1400 ! Most of that is labour, as there are a number of hours in getting the bike stripped and put back together. Look at the thread posted above about my bike, I listed roughly what is involved in stripping the bike. By contrast, the actual cost to paint the frame is £150. Hope that helps
I like .......the white rim tape is a nice detail, in fact the plain red wheels without it might have been ott.
Cheers guys, it'll be dirty enough on Monday when it has a service at Duc Wolves! Got a week off next week n crap weather, ah well that's what goretex is for.
Havin the sensor recall done too. Got a day trip out to Whitby on Tues with the missus. Getting her used to day trips for the trip down to WDW14. Plus get to have some nice fish n chips!
Not for me, I prefer black but if you like them then that's great - each to their own. I'm still wanting to break up the side white band on the tank like the Dolomites Peak paint job.
