If Scott gets a ride back on a Ducati there is no doubt he could be consistently pushing more with the top 10 guys. It would probably also highlight the issues with BMW. Saying that BMW are moving to the same Electronics package as the rest of the field (Finally) so that will be interesting to see what impact that has.
Would genuinely love to see him on a mvds v4s alongside the sl22 even if it’s just to get some honest real life comparisons instead of years old internet opinion validated.
They have announced a V4R team with Lowes from M2 team joining…two man team with Redding?! Toprak will be kicking himself….
They just said on commentary 99% not going to Benovo BMW… and then said “will he go to motoamerica” surely he’s not even considering that?
I think that’s the only reason anyone races in the states, as there is also no depth of field. 10th place in a race is often well over a minute behind and the times from top to bottom of the grid are often 7 or more seconds difference. baubier went back there after basically riding for free in moto2 for 3 years trying to make it, clearly he needed to top up his pension rather than come to Uk or WSBK, can’t blame him I suppose
When I was a young lad trying to make my way in the racing world (karts/cars), a lot of my friends/competitors went off to America to build their careers, win a championship etc. There’s so much more opportunity over there.
I think that was a deliberate throw away comment and Hanes didn’t have anything better to fill the commentary. Andy
