Who's the best company to re-flash an ecu, prefer between London and Cornwall cause I am only back for a week and need to drop it and collect.
CJS south west of Bath CJS RACING Ducati Cylinder Heads Tuning Gas Flow Dyno ECU Custom Mapping Bristol Bath located with Louigi Moto, between them amongst the best ducati support in the UK with the best prices for tuning and servicing
Thanks Denzil, Been in contact with CJS but they mailed me back and he is on holiday, no one else picks up the phone and I am up against the clock on this if I want to drop and collect but after reading thats where I wanted to go!
Try Rich Llewellyn at Louigi Moto, he will be able to sort out a set up and the dyno run with Chris Steedman

Motorapido Winchester may be worth a shot, Steve can load and return maps I think although not sure he likes to. Don't think Rich does ECU work, Chris being away will stop all that.
I used Avanti racing to reflash, the statment on JHS, if there is a reason then explain what happened as we should know good and bad situations and service rather than just throwing that onto my thread. Would like to know the story.
I wouldn't know where to start. It was a catalogue or cock ups. Initially I took it to them for a PC3 map. When they couldnt get it to idle and pick up smoothly they replaced injectors, main loom, filter, etc. Then blamed the PC3, they had my bike for 3 months! Still did not run nicely. So I took it to Louigi and CJS. JHS had failed to set the CO, a job that required no new parts, and a job that must be done first, this despite calling themselves 'Ducati Specialists' on their website. Rich at Louigi rolled his eyes when I told him the story and said this has happened before. So you see, I do not have an axe to grind for nothing. Use them if you want, but you may come out of it with a £1000 + bill as I did and be no closer to what you asked for. There is more but that is the important part of the story. Oh, and to finish, and after being given a huge bill I was told to scrap my bike as it had so many faults. Funny because it worked lovely after Louigi and CJS tinkered with it. Id never take any bike back there. I have had my ups and downs with this 749s but currently she is running as sweet as a nut and I may keep her.
Thanks for the info, I didn't say you didn't have an axe to grid, I just wanted to know what sort of axe was being ground! I had my share but mainly Ducati dealers outside of the UK and Ducati factory service.
It was an awful experience, and I suspect the same for them too once they were caught out. Anyways, gone off topic on your thread. Use CJS and Louigi Moto if you are this way. You will not be disappointed, true specialists.
