I fitted a Lithium battery last year on my 848 (and fortunately have avoided the potential firey catastrophy) so I thought I'd put all this garage time to good use and get the upgrade done. I know another reg/rec thread. I did read all the others; specific thanks to @Geoffduk for providing the detail us fastidious types like to see. That's what finally tipped me over the edge and get on with it. What I didn't find was a step by step video, so thought some may find it useful. Or just something to waste a few minutes watching! It's filmed in lockdown slo mo. Clearly I have too much time on my hands.
Thank for this! I really enjoyed watching it. One question...I thought when fitting a lithium ion battery you had to use a lower voltage regulator? Or is it ok to use the OEM one?
Hey, I'm not 100% sure but having read all the threads on it I went with the 'use the latest one from a Panigale and it should be ok' school of thought.. others may know better.
