Remap in Lincolnshire?

  1. I think it is about time to get the 750 ie set up correctly

I have a PC3 but it is the serial type and there are no maps for the 750 on the PC site so it is a bit less than useless.

Is there anywhere in Lincolnshire that people can recommend to set up the TB's and map the stock ECU

I only have K&N in an open box and a set of cans so the bike if fairly stock

  2. CJS Ducati can do it quite easily but they are nowhere near Lincoln unfortunately, they are in Bristol. I made the trip from London to get mine done, but well worth it. I doubt there is anyone much better.

  3. BSD in Peterborough are very good

  4. Cornerspeed and SPR in Notts are probably the closest to North and West Lincs.
If you are in the South BSD is likely to be your nearest option.
If you live in the far east I don't know of any dynos between Grimsby, Louth and Horncastle, but it might be worth a call to Honda Racing HQ in Louth to see who they use if they don't do it In-House.

  5. you can ship a bike anywhere in the uk for £109 + Vat

  6. Honda do it on site, I have seen their dyno :)

Chris Gunster in Grimsby is very good for PC work but for the cost of buying one and getting it mapped I can ride down to BSD so I best give them a ring.

Do they do it "live" or do you need to leave the bike with them?

  7. i left mine overnight but they might do a real time booking if you ask them

  8. How much does remapping cost anyways, my 748 has a flatspot at 4k, probably because of my 50mm Termis, Pipercross filters. She does run very rich too. Its running a Ducati 50mm chip in the ECU and she flies as long as you work around the flatspot!

Annoying, but if the remap on my VW TDI is anything to go by, could be worth a punt!

  9. I think I paid £428 at CJS to fully set my bike up, that is for mapping each cylinder, this is for a 748R engine in an S frame so it is quite a big job, it took all day.
