Where can I get a special tool to remove the locking nut on top of my 32mm-center nut? I guess it is a locking nut of some sort. Ducati Performance Slipper Clutch.
There isn't anything on top of the centre nut, looks like you've got everything you need, but don't know if that holder/tool is up to the job they're extremely tight 250Nm and may also have threadlock :Arghh:
I also think you need to position the tool/holder better, if the basket castellations are positioned in the spaces of the tool it'll drop a bit deeper and get a better "grip" on the drum
Thank's Tobytyke. It was no locking nut just the axle:Banghead: :Banghead: :Banghead: The drum and basket are out now hope the new ones fit right in.
Oberon make a nice aluminium basket locking tool, I have one and it works really well. The large nut is made of cheese and the threads strip easily, but it is exactly the same size as the final drive sprocket nut and therefore simple to find and order. Neo
