I am thinking of getting both the seat and the tank pad reupholstered. Could any one please advise me on how to remove the tank pad. I am prepared for some paint damage under the pad. And when replacing it is it simply a matter of contact adhesive or is there an alternative. I have an enquiry out with Saddle Craft in Tyne and Wear. Does any one have any experience of them, or better still a strong recommendation for any one else. Many thanks ChrisM
Hi ChrisM I used them to get my seat recovered. Didn't do anything with the tank pad though. Great service and a good quality job. The do loads of specialist stuff and custom requests. Don't let the shop put you off.
