Hello guys, I´m not sure but i think i read somewhere that there is a way to remove the shake of the screen that creates noise, it feels taht something is falling apart. Can anyone poitn me out the thread where this info lies? Thanks in advance.
Screen rattle can be reduced by shimming the bottom fixing on the screen carrier there is a fair amount of dis-assembly needed to reach it, not sure who started the thread may have been AndyW
I took mine to the dealers and they reshimmed it to tighten it up, its still rubber mounted so should expect a bit of movement depending on screen, position etc Rivets
I thought i read something about it but can´t seem to find it. Nothing to do with wind noise, just the shake of the screen when used in bumpy roads, etc.
Hello guys. I know this thread is old but I cant find any newer ones regarding this. I have some strong wind shield (Puig) shakes between 2500 and 4000 RPM on my 2017 Multi S. Would the "Hiss flaps" or "Aztec spacers" fix this or are these two items only reducing wind noise because of the angle. Does anyone else have any idea how to get rid of those? I hate that rattling noise. Many thanks! Andrei
Not sure which noise you mean but the rattling noise is often caused by movement in the ball joint at the bottom of the screen mount. If you search for 'the superglue fix' this cures it.
Be nice if someone could make a discreet brace...afterall the screen is hardly adjusted after once set.
