Renault Modus For Sale

  1. Hi All, I`m selling my 2006 Renault Modus as our kids have finally all got reliable cars so I no longer need a spare to lend them when they break down.
It is the Privelige DCI version in a rather revolting shade of gold. Visually it is the sort of car you would not want to be seen in but it is comfy, reliable, economical , reasonably practical for a small car, attracts no attention whatsoever and is surprisingly good fun to drive.
It has a full service history and mechanically seems excellent. The bodywork is pretty good for a 10 year old car with 110k miles hardly any stone chips and just one small 50p size dent above the rear bumper . I have to admit to letting our dogs in it occasionally but neither of them shed hair so apart from the odd nose print on the side and rear windows you wouldnt know.
I`m the 3rd owner and I`m prepared to let this little beauty go for a piffling £600, it would make a great first car or would be easy to learn to drive in. It is fairly safe for new drivers as it has very neutral steering, abs and plenty of airbags.
The car is located just a few miles from junction 12 of the M1 in Bedfordshire , has an MOT till 30th March 2016 and is currently sorned so sorry no road tests. That said we have quite a lot of open space and fields around us so a couple of hundred yards of off roading should be ok. Please pm me on here if you are interested and I`m going to put it on Ebay too just in case it doesnt appeal to anyone on here.
    Cheers
    David

  2. The real question is, is this the ugliest car ever made?

  3. I have one for sale too, they are popular with Ducati owners and mine does 70-80mpg on runs. Didn't mind using it at all once my Mrs went back to Czech Rep (knowing I had an Exige in the garage :) ). TBF, this post should be in the Multistrada Section even though they are better looking than a Fiat Multipla :D
Mine has the addition of two knackered front windows and is in York so not a competitor for your sale (but is much cheaper with more miles as currently not doing anything with it since I bought my Van)
Bought mine for the Mrs at 10 months old (car not the Mrs ) bought it off her even though I paid for it in the first place, then she used it four time a year when in the UK . Forced her to drive the van now :D

Great little ugly fekkers for sure and convert into a ikle Van with the folding seats.
