is there any other engines that will fit it the gt1000?, the bike I am looking at has done 40,000 miles and looks a mess, needs stripping and re-painting
Brilliant, a project, what about the ds 1100 engine???? To be fair I haven't a clue but it would be rude not to try the bigger cc.
Some motors with sssa are narrower at swingarm pivot. Otherwise they all fit but getting ecu and injectors to work properly can cause headaches. Also may require custom wiring. At 40,000 I would look to get existing motor sorted.
