Hi all, Does anyone have any suggestions or experience instead of spending the £220 ducati price ? - heated grips (not standard). Thanks Tony.
I recently replaced the rubbers on mine with a set of Spider SLR grips. The LH one was a bit difficult to get on but with a bit of water-based lubricant meant for more pleasurable pursuits went on with a little persuasion. The SLR grips though are very soft and may not last too long. Spider recommend their new PEAK grips but you may have to buy two sets and use a RH grip on each side
spider are saying what you said - get the PEAK ones and choose the multi strada S heated option (which means its 2 right hand grips and one of the logos will be upside down). I am just asking them for a UK supplier now...as they ve given me a US side and postage is half the cost of a set of grips... bugs
I used these - you can use any grip you want Seem effective but never ridden with a 'normal' heated grip........ Heat Demon from Symtec Heated Grip Kit > Heat Demon from Symtec
Hi Bugs, just confirming what I offerd on Ducati m.s. I went the 2 r/hand side Spider Peak grip route. Couldnt find a U.K. distributor apart from an ATV type company so got mine from U.S. , Good luck
