bike won't start using the key but it will using the transponder key so assume it's the battery, has anyone changed their battery yet, it shouldn't need it and the dash hasn't indicated a battery issue but as I have a spare I thought it's worth changing, instructions aren't brilliant as it just says remove the silver cover first..... How?? I,ve tried but can't see anyway of removing it and I don't want to try forcing it, advise appreciated if you've had to it
Just managed to replace the key battery without removing the silver part and bike started no problem, suggest all of you with DVTs go and buy replacement CR2032 battery to keep with the bike. 2 months old and having to replace the battery!!!. Ok the battery might be older than that but the display is meant to warn you of a low battery. Ah well, one last thing to worry about, just need to get the fuel sensor replaced now.
