Hi all, So I owned a 996 for 15 years and had a bit of a mad moment and sold it, instantly regretted but after a little time had passed I got the itch and found a “cheap” 748 as usual it turned out to be far from cheap as I’ve had to pour thousands into it to get it up to a useable state! it’s not finished yet but mechanically it’s running correctly. so I’ll probably be looking for help from you all to get it in A1 condition
The 996 was my dream bike & should not have sold it but here I am now! The 748 came with extensive service history but developed a misfire a few days after purchasing. A trip to my man (Ex sigma performance tech) showed massive dechroming on the rockers ££££
Disappointed now no rubbish bin pictures We like rubbish bins and they keep me happy. You kinda made up for it with your little one welcome into our mad house
Yes it’s a great bike actually! I bought it as a bit of fun whilst the 748 was in surgery- I’ll be sad to see it go…. mine has Harris rear sets but a steering damper might be nice
