My 900SS has an M900 engine, so no working rev counter. I'm wondering if anybody knows which rev counters will work with an M900 engine, the dash fitting would be as per a 1995 900SS but could adapt, preferably 80mm and analogue display. The aftermarket ones are too expensive for me just now. Maybe from a newer Ducati model or another make of bike. Some look like they need a separate pick up which might be hard others would work from the ignition pulse, maybe. Thanks
I fitted an electrinoc one from Elliots when I fitted a Monster engine in my SS race bike. It just needs power, earth, and I picked up a feed from one of the coils or cdi units.
