Having owned 2 pairs of Hood Kevlar jeans ( still have 1 pair in use ) I thought I would get a new pair from Rev it as I have a few Rev it items and like their stuff. I eventually stumped for a pair of campo jeans with Cordura fabric. Tried them on tonight and the fit superb and feel much better than the hood jeans straight away. I wear Kevlar jeans a lot of the time on the multi so wanted something comfortable. I know some people don't like the Kevlar jeans but horses for courses and all that.
from Getgeared and £140. I wanted the Dainese jeans first but when I tried them on the knee protection seemed to be below the knee and felt uncomfortable. The Rev it ones aren't as baggy as the hood jeans also which I prefer.
+1 for Rev-it! stuff. I've had a lot of their clothing and it has always been well designed and constructed.
I've just bought some Furygan JN01 jeans. They just look like normal jeans no funny quirky stitching to the knees... and very plush inside. D3o knee pads I paid £90 reduced from £120
Bought from the Rocket centre they advertised them on eBay. They don't have hip armour pockets but you can adjust the height of the knee pads. FC moto have them for £90 and I'm sure there's a 5% discount code floating about on the web.
Have a pair of RST Kevlar arimid jeans and swear by them. Look like normal jeans for work even with knee and hip armor. The denim also has a slight stretch to it which makes them incredibly comfy too. About £90 but make sure they are the new 2015 style
I've just bought my 3rd pair of Hood jeans to replace my previous pair which are 6yrs old now. My only criticism of my pairs has been that the protective lining is quite thick & "harsh" where as the lining in the new version is much softer and way more comfortable. Before buying the latest pair of Hoods I looked at & tried on several other makes as the selection is now far greater than 6yrs ago. In the end I couldn't find a pair of fully lined ones that were more comfortable than the latest Hood's so for the price & quality plus their superb nothing's too much trouble service it was an easy choice to stick with them.
No, but I get all of my Rev-It stuff from Harpers in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex, who are very helpful. My wife gets hers there and we sometimes turn up at the store and they post out to us, free of VAT, which is nice. Has anyone got the new Dominator jacket? Is it worth another £250 on top of the previous top of the range? I need a new one next year.
