Reverse cone mega exhaust 600ss ?

  1. I am thinking of fitting a reverse cone mega to the 600ss to release some noise it is a straight through jobby with some internal baffling anyone fitted an exhaust to their 600ss and suffered any problems with running ?
I am hoping to not have to re-jet to suit the pipe the bike has standard airbox and standard air filter fitted no other mods at all.

    Similar to this one.

  2. Bet you have to re-jet or at least raise the carb needles a notch..........anything that is an alteration to zorst is liable to warrant an adjustment.....

  3. Thanks for all your input I am not going to do anything with the bike as it is ok as it is and doesn't need to be any noisier it runs well and I have had all the docs come today and it has good history and servicing as been kept up which backs up the 16000 mile clocks so it can stay standard and hold it's money.

  4. If you do go that route a stage 2 dynojet kit would be needed. If you want to release the noise and keep the standard look get the can modded. I did this with mine via Baines Racing back in the day.
