I don't know if any of you remember or know an Ian Rhodes. He was Baines racing (in their hayday) moto cinelli, Ducati UK warranty manager, forza Italia near silverstone……….well i know him quite well and he is a quality Italian motorbike engineer. He has just started up a independent motor cycle company (alongside a substantial partner) repairing preparing building all types of motorcycle specialising in italian stuff…….I know he has a massive reputation on the Aprilia forum scene! He will also have his own in house Dyno and is based in Northampton, He is called rhodesandtrack.com and the web site will be up and running soon along with his work shop and track day services...
I know Ian , he worked on my Pantah about 100 years ago when he was at Baines and has continued to do so recently at Forza Italia, he is very good I think. I imagine they will miss him at Silverstone, anyone know who they have got in as a replacement ?
I too have known and used Ian for a few years now and bumped into him at the NEC show. As soon as the weather warms again in the new year I will be paying him a visit to see if hes still good at making coffee
