998 Ride Height Adjuster Rod Ends

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by Jimbob998, Jan 8, 2018.

  1. Hi,
Can anyone confirm the thread pitch on the rear suspension adjuster rod ends?
I’ve had a look back over the various threads and can see they are M12 with handed threads, but at the time there was some debate / confusion over the 1.5mm or 1.25mm pitch?

I’d prefer not to remove mine to measure them and have the new ones ready for a quick swap during the rebuild.
    Many thanks

  2. The 748 is m12*1.5 . I assume the 998 would be the same. I purchased the high performance rod ends ones from McGill Motorsport. I would recommend changing the adjuster as well as they seize up solid. I bought one from a German company called MVS.
