I have just fitted some sc 180 60 profile to my 848 and now i have a clearance issue with the swingarm to tyre. Iv removed the chain took the weight off the rear wheel and took a measurement from the wheel spindle to a fixed point on the exhaust, with the wheel at 5/6 o’clock (as it was before with the old tyres and correct chain tension) the measurement was 510mm in this position I had a gap from tyre to swingarm of 3mm, if I move the hub back as far as it will go to about the 8/9 o’clock position the measurement is now 505mm so 5mm lower and the new gap from tyre to swingarm is now 14mm. I’ve never played around with this before so does an increase of only 5mm sound right from 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock and is 14mm enough room for the tyre to grow and not foul the swingarm?
