On Sunday 20th May (this sunday) a charity event, to raise funds for the Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance service, will be taking place at Tor Leisure in Glastonbury. The event is called Riders in The Sky and is now in it's second year. It was started as a memorial to Lee Baker, a local fireman and biker who was tragically killed on the Wells bypass in 2010. Lee had been a very active fundraiser and this event is seen as a way to carry on this work. There will be a rideout (approx 70 miles) in the morning and then a Family Fun event at Tor Leisure in the afternoon. Looks to me like a great cause and should be a lot of fun as well.
