If I set the engine mode to HIGH in SPORT and EBC is 1 TC is 5 and ABS 2 Is this identical to selecting RACE where engine mode is already HIGH and turning the TC to 5 and ABS to 2? Should the bike be putting down power in the same fashion or is there some hidden fuelling differences you cannot control?
This is what I thought but I set both modes identically today and race still seemed to have a bit more something to it.. All settings were identical so I wondered if there's something else we can't change in each mode
The throttle response in race is more focused so you will notice a difference, there may well be a slight mapping difference but I am not sure on that score, I had my ABS/EBC set 1 in both modes, TC set to 3 in sport mode and 1 in Race mode. In sport I was able to get the arse end to kick a little on sharp corners and coming out of roundabouts, leaving the odd black rubber mark on the tarmac is most satisfying.
