Has anyone fitted the Rizoma aluminium clear window belt cover to a 2004 749R? I had one fitted to my 2006 749, but before I try & find one for sale I thought I'd better check they definitely fit the 2004 full carbon fairing 749R! (If anyone has the Rizoma cover and wants to sell it please drop me a pm.)
It appears to have the right sort of shape for a 749/999 motor. Not sure why one would want to swap the svelte carbon covers off an R for a heavier ally cover...
Agreed with RickyX, those Rizoma things look crap compared to the original carbon cover. But to answer the question, yes it will fit.
Each to their own on appearance... Fitment question was not as stupid as it might seem - if I remember back to the old Ducatisti site there was a thread about not all 749/999 covers fitting every model - memory keeps thinking one of the model variants had a V or triangle section embedded in the cover?
