There's a place called Crapstone in Devon, just over the border from where I live... And, of course there's Penistone in Yorkshire - made famous only this week by Top Gear. And then there's Idle - Home of the famous Idle Workingmans' Club...
There was a 'Butt Hole' road in Conisbrough, south Yorkshire, the road was named after all the very expensive bungalows were built and sold, took the residents 15 years to get it re-named, it was always said that the socialist Councillors gave it the name out of spite,
