Should all the road salt from winter be gone now as my multi is filthy and needs a good clean. Has acf50 on it so just been cleaning with water from power washer to get most of dirt off over winter.
Been quite mild where i am in north west so think road salt should be pretty much gone as rained heavy a few times as well.
Very mild here but they were still gritting tonight. I'm convinced they've contracted to buy salt so just spread it when they need to make room for the next delivery. When they spread they spray it so thick you can barely see the road - I guess to make as much room for storage with the least diesel cost? Madness! I suppose they can't win as we all moaned when they nearly ran out of grit a few years ago.
I'd still wait another month, frost on the car last two mornings and although here in Oxfordshire forecast is mild for rest of week, it can still change
Been mega frost last 2 nights so tons of grit everywhere. On the plus side, suns been out in the day!
Forecast next week is good, dry and up to 15 degrees. cheeky day off to myself on Wednesday, need to get the old SS MOT'd and hopefully do some miles.
Sorry to sound smug but they never need to grit in my neck of the woods. Or so I thought before I fell off on a patch of ice last winter.
