Yo Guys. I've won a Performance mag track day at Rockingham. I see that they have this event every year, and seems like everyone enjoys it. But how are they with noise there. I have a 1199 Pani with Termi end cans fitted. The person from the mag rang Rockingham and asked for me , and they said they virtually ignore the static test for Ducati's and do a drive by test. Is this true, and do I need to fit the baffles ? Will take them along as I always do to track days. Would be nice to know how other 1199 owners have got on there.
I used to work at Rockingham for a couple of years, helping out with track days & working with the California Superbike School. When I was there, we didnt really bother worrying about the noise levels and concentrated more on whether riders were riding safely or just being a danger to themselves & others. Some of the mental v8 cars which would turn up for track days etc were incredibly loud. This was a good few years back now so I expect its all changed since then. Still, its a cracking circuit so you`ll have a great time.
