  1. Heading to Montreal for a bit, then across to Vancouver.

Can anyone comment on the rocky route? Many thanks in advance. Capture.PNG

  2. Probably better to ask on www.ducati.ms the North American site.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  3. I flew that route in a microlight many years ago, was great fun and met loads of nice people, the only downside was waiting for the 2 stroke engine to fail!

  4. It's quite rocky :)

    • Thanks Thanks x 1

  6. Paid for the Sat nav so should be fine. Heading across tonight.

  7. Mind the rocks I mentioned earlier in the thread :Wideyed:

  8. Bob, I can't fly

  9. I seen a scrambler.

  10. I don't think they are for off road

  11. my mate worked over there for years, he was in today working on his land rover. :Vomit:. he biked over there. he strongly recommends. this fraser valley route.

  12. I will look at the valley route. Thanks a lot. Can't do a bike with wifey and luggage. Got a car, handier

  13. Pretty much done the planned route and a little detour to Jasper. Amazing, breathtaking scenery. Great roads but can be slow moving. Just a matter of slowing down and enjoying the views. No down sides, lots of bikes, mostly Harleys.
I will post a few pics. Montreal, lovely city. Vancouver and surrounding areas also fantastic. Boiling hot, but apparently its unusually hot. In the 30's for past few days.
Apparently back again in a couple of years.

  17. I find Montreal very European as opposed to Toronto being very American. Never been to Vancouver but would love to go at some point.

Your pics are great btw. Keep them coming :)

  18. I was expecting Montreal to be more French and difficult if that makes sense. Its a great city, the people make it. Very relaxed.
Vancouver just has the location and backdrop of scenery. Cities are cities, but these cities have life, a centre at night. Montreal has loads of summer festivals, every night people poured into town.
I would go back tomorrow without hesitation. I spoke to someone about work and he basically said if you like it, stay, there is work. Green grass on holiday is always a consideration.
Vancouver, very outdoors lifestyle. Fantastic place to visit. Do it.

  19. did you try that pass me mate mentioned?

  20. We went through the chilliwack area but stayed on the highway to make Langley before our flight home. I think the valley route was further north.

I just looked at the map. We were through the area but as I say, were on the highway. It has wine areas. Hot springs, abbotsford, sunshine valley, hope. Seen a lot of signs for the US border.
