The original tyres finally came to the end of their life, and a quick trip to FWR sorted me out with a pair of Rosso Corsa for my Streetfighter S. Planned a big loop from London down through Tunbridge Wells, Lewes, Hastings, Rye, Maidstone to scrub them in and enjoy the day. In yesterday's heat, 26C on the dash, it did not take long to get them working. Plenty of grip. Good stability on the brakes, even on bumpy A roads. No problem with grip, but will see how it performs in cooler temps. Anyone else use these?
I like them on my second pair plenty soft and sticky ,don't know about wet use never had any yet they don't last long either .Bridgestones for me next
Cracking tyres! Standard on 848 sf but in an odd 60 profile. The only downside is the back lasts about 2300 miles and that is £6.50 of tyre every time i do 100 miles. just fitted my forth and gone up to £160 for a rear this year.
Brilliant tyres. Did a torrentially wet track day at Silverstone on them 2 years ago, and they were superb, with plenty of grip and progressive as they reached the limits. They are more responsive than the new Pilot Power 3s on the road.
Awesome tyre! Toured Europe with a pair - Sun, rain and even snow!! Bearable in the rain / snow but really shone when the weather was right!!
Brilliant tyre but I'm lucky if I get 3k out of them. Didnt inspire confidence in the thunder and lightning thunderstorm i bumped into nr Bellegarde France in June. Where it looked like the rapture had arrived and all hell broke loose. But was ace on the twisty hairpins just before in the Jura's and ace again in the alps. Best tyre and on a par with 207rr's in my affection.
