has anyone with a 2015 + Multi removed the plastics (#6 in drawing) below the seat/rear sub-frame? I am asking, as I want to install a Clearwater Bille Brake Light LED license plate frame, and the power cable needs to be routed to under the seat, to connect to the Clearwater CANopener. so, I am trying to route the power cable from the license place frame, inside the plastics (#6 and # 15), and end up under the seat just in front of the battery.
I replaced the rails on my 2015 DVT and it was an easy enough job to strip and replace most of the back end plastic
I’ve just fitted an Enduro plate hanger onto my 1260PP , so I’ve done exactly what you’re referring to. Four bolts underneath the bike and four (from memory) under the seat and it’s all off. Plus it would be easy to route an extra cable through. I was pleased with how easy the whole thing came together.
I removed and opened mine to fit the Ducati Performance indicators. Pretty simple, you just need to repack the cables carefully when you put it back together
