RST Slice

  1. Having recently bought a 2 piece suit I thought I'd share my experience.

Trousers fit properly, with no saggy thighs or claves as with some. The fastening is by zip with single velcro over. I would prefer a doubled over velcro fastening or some other clip/popper/button, but it seem to work fine. The large stretch panels mean its easy to swing your leg over and get comfortable on the bike.

The jacket comes with a zip in liner and feels really good quality. It has built in CE armour (including in the back), unlike some which require a separate back protector if you want CE. They zip together firmly and easily even when on.

Overall I can't fault the suit, albeit only after a few uses. If you shop around you can get the full suit for £320, so it's a bargain to boot!

  2. Good Review

My commuting gear is made by RST, pretty good gear that stands the test of time. The Velcro on the trousers have now given up but I'll probably add my own popper button.

Used the suit in torrential down pours of just under an hour and even thou I have storm zips a little water does penetrate but not much to make you notice it.

Id certainly buy it again :upyeah:
