When I got my bike, the seat/ suspension had been lowered to its minimum (prev owner was 5'3"') I am 5'10" and want to return the bike to the correct height. The manual says to measure from ground to reflector height, which is 517mm but my bike has the tail chopped so this measurement is now useless to me. The ride height is 800mm for the standard seat but I have a reshaped seat and a DP touring one on order. So I was thinking, what point on the frame could I use as reference that is the same on all S2R's. the seat lock barrel!! Can someone who has a standard, untouched height please let me know what the height is, from the ground to the bottom of the seat lock barrel. That way I can put mine back to standard using a fixed reference. Thanks everyone. Pete
Just a thought was a lowering link bar used? Looking for ways to lower the S4R when the GF grows into it
