I’ve searched all over for a torque value for the front caliper bolts which hold the two parts together. Can anyone oblige, please? Monster S4R 2003
Are the callers brembo? If so I too had experience similar earlier in the year. I wanted to repot/seal my rear on a 2015 1200s. Brembo don’t seem to support caliper repairs, they’d rather you replace it whole. Hence I found it hard to find torque settings online. I went with 30Nm.
Page 4 of this thread may help. Info came from Brembo distributors. Post #76 https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/new-to-me-2002-748s.80599/page-4#post-1790902
Further info. sought. The S4R has had its top yoke and bars swapped for a Speedymoto yoke and clip ones. A) is it worthwhile restoring the original bars/yoke? (More in demand?) B) would a M1000S 2004 top yoke and bars fit? Thanks in advance
I’ll let you know if I find out. Just got a 1000 top yoke and bars yesterday. Now looking for a tail section to return to OEM. If anyone has one…?
Only guess at that difference as I'm trying to get some risers made / adapted for my 900 which has stock yokes but with the top one bored to 53mm for some 916 forks.
There’s an advert on Facebook for a company making yokes/risers. I’ll see if I can find and post it after work today
