  1. I don't know if anyone saw the news Saturday ?
A lady sidecar racing passenger killed and rider critical at Brighton .

The lady was Charlotte Tagg of Newmarket Suffolk.
    A really lovely person.
Was GF of Nik Samson who edits. 100% Biker also a lovely chap.

    Very sad sad news.
Thoughts go out to her children and also her family and friends.

  6. I wonder how it happened.......I have known Roger Hollingshead for quite a while....if anyone was experienced with sidecars, he is....

At least I assume it was Roger driving.

    AL.

  7. Not wanting to be morbid or anything but is Nik Samson the guy is on TheRevCounter known as Nik S? Just that there isn't anything on that website, that's all.

Yes was the ones that ran past the barrier.
    Very sad.
There ironically enough in 100% this issue is a picture of her doing grass track sidecar racing.,
she was a lovely smiley lady,

  10. My cousin Carol was also racing there on Saturday. She had a long chat with Charlotte Tagg before the incident and it has shaken her up quite badly. Apparently the engine exploded.

Such sad news and condolences to all her family.

  11. Apparentley they were welding the frame shortly before the start. The outfit dident look very safe

  12. I know Nik more to yak too and only a few weeks ago poor Nik was having to help me sort my tent out!!
    He is a lovely chap.
Charlotte I have had little chats to and said Hi .,
she always had a big smile and was very well liked .

I feel for her children :(
But I will always remember a nice smiley pretty girl.
She had balls to race ..
and I heard it was instant.

Im sure it will all come to light.
I hope the rider pulls through.

Sadly none of that will bring back a lady taken too soon :(
I hope your cousin is ok.
Just remember she died doing something she loved.

  13. Oh dear....

  14. Very sad.

I don't think anything with 3 wheels is that safe. It's just not a great configuration.

Plus if you mess with kinetic energy (and we all do) sometimes it's going to bite you in the bum. (Plenty of bum-bitten people on here).
