A genuine understanding of the bike and it's history told in a pretty engaging way. Get yourself a drink and enjoy... Definitely worth a watch
They never finished designing a back brake that works. The girlfriends 2018 821 has never had a back brake that works. Been back to Ducati so many times and now needs bleeding weekly.
It's a faulty brake line. Check into a recall. Lot's have been posted about it here and many by your's truly. www.ducatimonster.org/threads/1200s-no-rear-brake-again.354956/page-2#post-3171523 www.ducatimonster.org/threads/1200s-no-rear-brake-again.354956/page-4#post-3175440 www.ducatimonster.org/threads/1200s-no-rear-brake-again.354956/page-5#post-3175456 There's something to be said about a girlfriend who can't stop while riding.
Lean on them! Go through the whole Monster thread above and copy the PDF recalls I've posted. There's enough there to build a solid case. It's a known problem and a safety issue. Then there's this (attached):
I've got a 796 monster, had it 4 years and the back brake has always been superb. My dad had a 821 and it never had a rear brake, I almost dropped it on a hill the first time I rode it. He had it bled a couple of times, then gave up with it.
