I fancy some Samco hoses for the 1098R, for no other reason than I like the look of them when the fairing is off. The question is, how blingy do I go? I was going to go for the blue as seen on @jusutus 999. But after seeing that I can specify almost any colour and 5 minutes of Photoshoppery later I'm interested in getting an opinion or two. Red - No, too much like the frame Black- What's the point. Blue - Probably my prefered option Amything else - ? Thanks in advance to jusutus for using pics of his bike.
i have white and love em but..... my only regret is the blue logo's on em.. my bike being, well im sure you know. i cant remember who i got em through but i rang them after i received the hoses to see if the could change them. they couldnt as the white was a special order but if i had asked at the time they could have got them for me with just an imprinted logo (no color)(couldnt do black logos) point is bear in mind the logo color and talk to the supplier if you want something odd ball!!
Meh.....My Desmo has the aluminium tubes as standard. I fancy a bit more bllllllllliiiiinnnngggg. I bet the DP kit isn't cheap either.
The DP kit is stupid money now cos they're hard to get hold of, but they have ali tubes and blue hoses - the best combination of bling!
I have blue on my 1098R and 749R. Both sets installed by previous owners. They look fine against the red frame.
Why not try the metallic silver? Will look similar ish to the DP kit from a distance if thats what you are after, or maybe Samco will be open to alternate colour options
Anybody know if you can still get these kits? I've been searching everywhere - even under the kitchen sink...!
