  1. They don't look as stylish as the Ducati OEM seats, but MUCH more comfortable and a smidge lower.

  2. Got them on mine and are definatly more comfy but I personally they think slightly smarter if not as sporty.

  3. I installed a lowered Sargent seat last month. I've just come back from a trip down to Cornwall, about 270 miles each way - much more comfortable than the standard and lowered seats. I won't be taking the AirHawk on tour to Italy next month.

I have a red bike and went for the red piping - looks nice however I think the fit around the sides of the tank could be a bit better. The rider and pillion seats are a wider than the standard seats, and you can fell the edge of the seat when putting a foot down. This isn't a problem just an observation. Given I felt very uncomfortable on the standard seat after 50 miles, I'm more than happy with the Sargent seat. I'm yet to get any feedback from the wife on the pillion seat.

  4. I'll most likely just fit these for my annual Euro tours and use the OEM rest of the time.
I only get a little fidgety on the OEM seat after 200 miles anyway.

The Sargent is comfy all day long though :)

  5. what sort of ££ are we talking? My low seat lacks a little padding and even tho my arse has more than enough its still a little uncomfy & I haven't done any long stints in the saddle yet

  6. Sargent seats for the Multistrada 1200 are £230 front and £155 rear and for 2013 model you have to buy them as a pair. Coloured piping is an extra cost option, as is heating for either or both seats. See the Sargent Seats UK web site for more details.

As far as padding goes, I don't think the Sargent lowered seat has any more padding than the standard lowered seat, it just a different shape with different padding density - definitely a bit wider.

The photos on the Sargent web site don't show that the pillion seat has a cut out under it with rubber straps across the pocket. The pillion seat also has a lip with fits into the rear storage compartment, which is not problem unless your attempting to wires over the frame element between the seats. I found this when I was considering reinstalling an Autocom intercom unit in the storage compartment.

  7. I just received my Sargent seats for my MS, well made, mine is the low version, cant feel the difference, as the seat height is all about the width. and that is the same when you put feet down for me, little disappointing really as I would love a lower seat height.
I did not notice how slippy the seat is, good for sliding forward when stopping, not so good any other time.
The seat depth goes further back, as I had to move the scott oiler to the side panel.
Not bad for the money tbh. Early days for long distance though but don't think they will be uncomfortable.
    Look good though
