Anyone know if there’s a switched live feed that’s easy to get to around the head stock? I want a decent connection for the satnav.
Hi Sam. I think the ‘go to’ live feed people tend to use is from the gps plug just above the headlight but not a 5 minute jobby as the nose cone has to come off.
I switched the connector on my sat nav to the same type as the battery charger, and plug it in/not as required, as I couldn’t find a switched live and my gps supply was inaccessible and used.
Mine is straight onto the battery, easy 10 minutes job and not been a problem for the last 7 years or so The only way it could run down your battery is if you leave the nav switched on in the cradle and forget about it,….even then it wouldn’t drain the battery as your nav would get nicked long before the battery went flat !!
