On my travels today, popped into Moto Rapido. As the title, lined up in the showroom a 916 Annversario, a V4R and the ‘new’ revised geometry 2020 V4S. Have to say for me, the 916 Anniversario looks ordinary. Not sure I like the gloss black paint or the very odd two tone/ two material seat but hey, I didn’t want one so no issue. Now the revised 2020 spec V4S is however noticeably very different to the previous version. The shared V4 R bodywork I think looks better and side by side with the V4R you can see the V4S stands a lot higher and I cannot quite flat foot sitting on it. The rear is higher with a different spring on the shock absorber and you can see the forks are about 5 to 10mm lower in the top clamp. The plastic wings look identical at a distance to the V4R carbon wings but close up, mmmm. The plastic wing also feels a bit more flexible but at £180+vat, not surprised. Andy
Put the R tank on the V2, bingo, what a looker. No, wait, make a full fat limited edition V2R. That would be great. 2021? You heard it here first.
seen the height of the pillion pegs and seat on that V2?? pillion rider's helmet will be skimming the clouds.
