Though I'd say hi. Been on the 899Panigale.org since November. After seeing the 899 in Ducati Manchester in November I was away on holiday with the Mrs in Mexico, I spent most of the two weeks on the internet reading reviews and looking at the 899. On returning home, we landed at Manchester at 8am on a chilly but dry early December morning, at 9:30am I was at the dealers with my licence in hand for a test ride. Think I'd already made my mind up but the test ride confirmed it, placed the order there and then for a red 899. A few phone calls to the factory and Martin at Ducati Manchester managed to reserve the last available red one so I got the deal with the free Termi's. Picked her up 20th December and love it. Had a few decals and venture shield fitted prior to picking up and done a few mods since, R&G tail tidy, carbon spring cover, front fork protectors, rear swingarm protectors & cotton reels, Replaced the sloppy original pegs with Oberon, far better. Just under 200 miles on the clock so far and waiting for the better weather to get out and hit the magic 600 for the first service.
Lovely looking bike; welcome in, a good bunch around here and lots who have picked up new 899's recently making the most of the Termi deal it seems. I only got my 848 in September so I am still smitten with it. Can't wait for the weather to improve.
Hi Adeyrob, What a great looking bike. Don't get tempted to take it out in this crap weather/ road conditions. Just think that what you are saving in fuel at the mo, you can put away for bling etc!!
