Selling my Scottoiler as I can't find a sensible way to mount it on my V4 Multistrada, I didn't like their suggestion on the frame tube. Previously used on my 1260 DVT with no issues, mounted on the front frame tube. I found it very good, especially on tour, and it did seem to extend chain life (No need for a big debate as I know some people don't like them!). Just fit and leave it, no need to attach anything to the bars or engine, just connect to the battery. Flow is adjustable but I mainly just used it on setting one, which seemed fine. Turns on and off automatically when you start and stop the bike. All parts present, including the nozzle attachment for the Multistrada (parts for other bike are available on their website). Should fit any V2 Multistrada. I've also got 3/4 of a bottle of oil which I can include if I can find a way to stop it leaking out. https://www.scottoiler.com/products/xsystem/ Full list of models here and fitting: https://marketingengineer.de/category/model-specific-install-guides/ducati/10/ Looking for £65 including postage (£150 new).
Does the drip point sit on both sides of the sprocket? I might take it if so as I just had the headache of chain faffing over the past 4 days
The one I have just has a single delivery nozzle which you place on the sprocket. The oil is then flung out onto the chain. I think you can get a nozzle that goes either side of the sprocket but this was the one the man from Scottoiler recommended at the show when I bought it
Just realised I must have had it fitted to my 1200 DVT as well maybe? Here is a link to the installation I did https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/scottoiler-installation.43478/#post-1308747
