hi all can anyone recommend a polishing compound for removing light scratches from the clock plastic? i'm reading up on it and it seams that some of them can leave the plastic looking hazy. so, has anyone used some to good effect on their clocks? ian
Xerapol Polish. Removes scratches from Screens and plastic. You can get it on eBay - also watch the videos on you tube about it. Seems the real deal!
You can get a headlight polishing kit halfords and it says it does motorcycle screens . I've used it on my car headlight and it done a great job
thanx for all the replies. chris, i'll pop round then if you don't mind. i'll text u before. i'm working on a cunning plan for sneaking out of work tomorrow. need to pop into b&d bolts in batley as well.
When I was an apprentice we used to use Brasso to polish scratches out of our safety glasses. Try on an inconspicuous area first...
worked a treat this. they've come up like new & looks like the scratches are removed, not just cleaned!!! many thanx, chris
Simple old Silvo wadding will do the trick, works on number plates, perspex screens and clock faces, and you can use it to polish your wife's wedding ring when you've finished to earn some much needed brownie points!
