Not mine, Touratech Screen spoiler, but just in case anyone is looking for one... Touratech Screen Spoiler Yamaha, Triumph ,Ducati. Not Wunderlich | eBay I was going to try and get a Wunderlich one.
MRA Screen every time for me. Great quality and the spolier lip, in conjunction with the Eagle side flaps, works superbly.
Sorry to drag this oldie back up, but I have had my 2010 for 4 years and 20k miles. Just recently fitted Aztec spacers to my DP larger screen, which have stopped the neck wrenching buffeting brilliantly, but having just got back from a trip to Brittany, the wind roar generated by the lower screen cut outs is unbearable and has set off my tinnitus again! The only solution was to ride with my left arm leant on top of my tank bag, elbow in left airstream and hand in the right, which totally eliminated it? Got Hocks earplugs in, but the tank bag was only added this year, so not sure if this combination with the Aztecs has caused a change or I just wasn't so sensitive to it before? Is there a 100% definitive solution to this, or is it a case of getting the best compromise and living with it? Don't want to throw ££££'s at this with new screens, helmets etc, unless there is a proper answer. Do these winglets work - I'm sure I saw on another thread that they clash with Barkbusters?
They definitely improve things but I think you're right about restricting lock with BB. Sure someone will confirm
Cheers Rivets, just found this video and they look like they could well solve my dilemma going from last nights experimenting with blocking the air, but will deffo clash with the BB's, which I find essential having lost a couple of hand guards in the past - damn!
Sorry to be a pain, but was that a cutting or grinding operation? Not much experience playing about with Perspex, but I have a little Dremel sanding wheel. Also, where did you buy the winglets from?
Cutting, followed by a bit of filing then sanding smooth. I put masking tape on it and drew the profile on there. Winglets are from Eagle Screens in Australia.
Screen spoiler is different to winglets, I've got one of the Wunderlich ones and on a quick test it did seem to help but I haven't had time for extensive testing yet.
We know they are different but the thread has gone off on a tangent and I am answering a later question!
