Hi, after some advice please. My seat got knocked on the garage floor and the cover now has a small (2cm ish) split in the cover on the rear right corner. It’s sort of under the pillion seat, but noticeable and annoying. I guess I could send it off to get recovered (prob will in the end). Is there a good way to make a temporary repair that looks good enough and will stop water getting in? thank you.

I recently bought a seat that the seller “forgot” had a rip in it so I superglued the two edges together applied with a cocktail stick and then a bit of black polish over it. I honestly struggle to find where it is now.
