Yes I have done a search but can not get the answer I am looking for I have a 2012 bike, there is a 2010-2011 Comfort passenger seat for sale in the classifieds which is currently being held for me, I intend to get a comfort riders seat too. My questions are; 1. Will the seat fit my bike? 2. If so does this then mean I will have to fit a 2010-2011 comfort seat. 3. If the answer to the above two questions are yes then what change in riding position/slash comfort will I get?
The main difference is that the later pillion seat is shorter, giving more room for the rider to move around but it exposes the locating post on the front seat. As such, the earlier seat has a large rubber grommet around the locating hole, the later seat has the locating point covered.
Given that the 2012 seats fit the earlier bikes, then yes, they will fit. You don't have to fit them as a pair, they will work individually. the earlier passenger seat will give you slightly less room to move around.
Thanks that's what I needed to know. As I'm quite a big chap and ride two up often I think I'm best looking for 2012 on seats.

The link doesn't really help as when you use the filter it brings up two passenger and two touring seats but doesn't actually give you any info on the differences, just that one is cheaper than the other in both cases.
