Well it looks like I may have secured a 999 to do an engine swap on my 749s Both are grey swingarm models so I hope the swap will be fairly simple. Looking forward to the extra torques I cant afford a 'proper' so this is the next best option and at least I'll know the history of the 749 rolling chassis and electrics before the swap. My plan then is to put the 749s engine into the other frame and sell on so hopefully giving me a very cheap engine. The doner bike needs some tlc hence I have secured it (I hope) for a good price. Exciting times.
