  1. BBC News - Gardener Andrew Woodhouse who beat thieves is cleared

A gardener has been cleared of causing grievous bodily harm to thieves he caught red-handed raiding his business.
Andrew Woodhouse, 44, from Govilon, Monmouthshire, beat one so badly he suffered two broken legs and a broken arm.
He then sat on burglars Kevin Green and Timothy Cross until the police arrived, Cardiff Crown Court heard.

  7. Reminds me of a story I heard about a former member of the SBS who was having his shed broken into and vandalised. He nailed the hand of one of the perps to a fencepost and called the police, who arrived and promptly arrested him. He was fined £300 and was reported as saying it was the best £300 he had ever spent.

  9. Well done that man

  10. Got what they deserved.

Shame we never saw the bastard that did my parents house, he definately wouldn't have walked out.

  11. Top job!!... Doff my cap to the fella!!... When will the law realise what is right??... He should get a medal.

  12. The thieving scum only got a £75 fine, probably cost the Tax payer £1000,s to put them through the justice system and the NHS. Would have been better if he had simply buried them somewhere.

  13. Top work that man :upyeah:
