Well I didn't see that coming... looks like I'll be putting a few for sale threads up in the coming days as I seem to have fallen for a BMW HP4. 999s will have its litre-bike duties replaced, 750ss has been on borrowed time for a while since I got the 900ss and the 900sl and the 748 is likely to not get used once the BMW rocks up. Am I doing the right thing? Perhaps my "heated grips" fetish has gone too far.
Ride what ever floats your boat. GLWS and I hope you enjoy the HP4 as much as you think you will Andy
You will regret it down the line in a few years..........just saying lol, imho never let go of classics to get something modern, good luck!
Sometimes the old has to make way for the new We can't hoard everything and what's life without a few regrets
True, I regret a fair few things and try to see it as enrichment avoiding boredom, but to be fair, you should make a exception for classic Ducati' s , you could of course just try for a summer how you would feel without them before you commit to selling, I promise I will look after them really wel lol
Its better to regret something you did rather than something you didnt do!Having said that BMWs are gay.
999S is a great bike, Still miss mine since selling last year, Still dont know why i sold it It seemed a good idea at the time, I was probably just a tad over excited on getting the SFS, HP4 is luvly
Maybe, but that's why I'm keeping hold of most of the 2v ones. Sunny evenings riding and enjoying those are very much a part of the future. The 4v bikes are closer in function to the HP Sauce and the 750ss is sweet, but these days I reach for the keys for one of the 900's more often.
The HP Sauce is mega. Gonna keep my Scrambler and MHR, otherwise I see a festival of selling coming up.
You realise of course that a new sauce is arriving next year? (maybe even this year) Mate has HP4 carbon and he loves it, personally I hate the sight of it. Albeit I only ever see it in my mirrors. I guess if your riding it, you dont have to look at it.
This one is a 2014 bike. It’s ace, and I’ve always liked the look of them since 2010. They have the same hollow dead-eyed wail as old GSXRs have, and they look mental, even after 8 years. The rear subframe is the eyesore bit, but on a Sauce it’s black so fades from view a bit. So a sell-off shall ensue. Sell on here or put them in as a customer-sale at a dealership? Hmmmm.
